Ike and I missed the big Juvat Beach Wedding because he was "on call" but it looks like they went all out and had a great time! The entertaining ideas they come up with, and what amazes me is how many people are like "yah! Lets do it!" haha, it's so great having fun friends!

Jeju Trip
We had a great time at Jeju! We both forgot our cameras so we don't have pictures to post yet but we picked up a disposable one so hopefully a few of those will turn out. We got in to Jeju on Saturday afternoon and took a 45 min bus ride to the hotel. Once we got checked in to our beautiful room (with a wonderful ocean view) we started exploring the island... and finished up the day with a really good seafood buffet. The buffet was outside by the pool and were seated front row for a water/lights show by the same people who created the Bellagio fountain. Later we went to Geckos with some friends and then rented a "private Kareoke" room. It was absolutely hilarious to listen to the Koreans singing American songs at the top of their lungs. Never seen anything quite like it, where you just rent a private room and sing to your friends. It was really nice though!
Sunday morning we went to the western breakfast because we couldnt make ourselves eat seaweed pourage for breakfast at the Korean restaurant and took off to see as many museams as possible. Went to the "sex and health" museam, a chocolate museam, and decided to pass on the teddy bear museam for the trained Monkey, Sealion and Dolphin show which was a great time even though it was ALL in Korean. That evening we took a stroll on the beach, found a waterfall, got some dinner and rented a paddle boat and went for a "lovers cruise" and listened to live music... Then Monday morning we had to head back to Osan... it was quite a long trip getting back since the busses were all full but we made it before Ike's bus to Kunsan so it was a success! I really hope we get to go back and see the other side of the island! :)

Fun Times in Seoul
Seoul
These pictures are from my first trip to Seoul! We took the subway down, and couldn't agree what the best route was so we played "amazing race korea" and competed to see who would get to Seoul first. The bottom picture is my team (aka the winning team)... Brian, Lexie and I were way faster than the other 3 guys. Later we went to "Noise Basement" which was a really crowded night club we went to.I talked to some koreans and had fun even though it was really hot and packed!
Crazy Pedicure Foot Bath
This is a footbath at "Escape" salon where I got a pedicure... I wasn't brave enought to stick my feet in the bath though for the fish to eat the dead skin off... but I got a great pedicure!!

Ammo Bowl
Another weekend in Songtan
Staff Sergeant promotion names were released on Thursday at 10pm... so needless to say, Friday night was a big celebration!! This is Joey, me, Kiwedin and Lexie out in Songtan.
Out for Korean date night, dinner and a movie and Pyongtaek
Dinner- spicy chicken and cabbage, cucumber salad, and macaronni salad with corn.
Some of the standard Korean side dishes, which all taste close to the same, garlic, kimchi, and spicy...
We were the only ones wearing bibs, didn't want to offend our waiter. You can see the big plate of chicken and cabbage cooking up right at our table... next the server mixed in some kind of funky leaf and weird noodles... it was good though!

Here is the hotel in Jeju island we are going to stay at for Labor Day weekend! So excited, it's like the Hawaii of Korea... meaning it's where a lot of people go for their honeymoon and stuff. There is an elephant show and dolphin show... and lots of waterfalls and craters to hike. Really happy that hubby can get out of work to go on a trip with me, what an awesome treat for $259 for the weekend. Love it!

Songtan Bars...
There are 126 bars outside the Osan front gate... each with its own unique atmosphere. Most all of them have "Kettles" though, which is where they put soju, sprite and this neon yellow energy drink in a tea kettle and people take shots of it. It's pretty crazy! Lots of fun though walking from bar to bar and seeing what they are all like. You are almost always greeted by a "juicy" who you can buy drinks to have someone to talk to. Its one of the strangest things I've ever seen. Almost like picking any date you want once you get to the bar. Last my favorite bar let you through the ice from your drink at the wall, and if you hit the button you got a free drink. I am going to have to bring some of these ideas back to the states. Pretty crazy place!!
PS. Still no songtan sally sightings.
